True North is an independent AI chat client that puts you in control. No training on your conversations, no ads, no engagement loops. Optional encrypted conversations. Compare multiple models side by side. Keep the insights that matter in your Gold Chest.

It's a one-person project, built in public, with a simple goal: an AI interface worth paying for.

Research & IP

Some features are marked experimental — not because the underlying architecture is speculative, but because they're still being battle-tested in real use. We hold ourselves to a higher standard than "shipped".

• Detached Memory — vendor-independent memory architecture. Whitepapers available on request.
• Family Safety Filters — multi-layered worldview-aware content filtering. Designed with serious intent; real-world edge cases still being mapped.
• Continuity Network — decentralized dual-write relay architecture. Core infrastructure is live; the full sovereign archiving feature is in development.

Experimental means the research is serious and the implementation is real — it means we're honest about what hasn't been stress-tested yet.
